Never thought I'd say this, but i finally have a life outside MMA. No longer will I be the only one to not have fun without my classmates [not that fun with classmates isnt fun, but you guys get fun outside too] I say this because I finally got adjusted to being a regular member at my CCA, SCC. I took me 3freakin semesters to bring me up to this stage and i felt i really really wasted my first semester with all that "I-dowan-to-talk-to-you-coz-you're-not-my-close-friend" shit. Sure I still have quite a bit to go, but hey at least im progressing.
The SCC camp, as cliche as it sounds, was definitely one of the best school camps i have ever been to. Chalets are different. Sure it was tiring as fuck, but i did have fun. I made some new friends and bonded with the current ones. There were several highlights in the camp, namely:
The inspirational talk. The committee members invited 3 of our seniors to talk about their struggles and accomplishments. At first i thought i was going to sleep, but halfway down FatJon's talk, it really had me thinking. I really didnt want to quit the club no matter how boring or pointless solely based on the reason that I didnt proved myself enough to give me validity to leave the club. Therefore Im striving hard to write songs now...or at least that's what my mind is thinking. I have no control over my bodily desires whatsoever. So there.
The night game. i never had this kind of game before and sure as hell it was one of a kind experience. I would definitely do it again and again year after year if i had the chance. I partnered up with Yanyi, who previously hadnt conversed with me other than a simple "hi" and another one of those "your mother from where arh?" Trust me, there comes a point where that novelty of uniqueness just wears off. She was almost as loudmouthed as my sister, good for me. So she decided to cling on to my arm the whole time. Hey i was scared shit too you know. The crazy part for our partnership was that whenever we stumbled across somewhere we would expect the committee members to scare us, we would just run! RUN! RUN~! Surprisingly we were the only ones to do that, i feel famous already =)
The camp was fun and it had me thinking a lot. Thanks to all who made it possible.
