KaNiNa
I have had the worst luck in my life yesterday. I never had one outing in my life where I got blugeoned and hit like a sack of pudding. Ok I wasnt hit by anyone rather it was this embarrassingly awkward string of accidents.
There was a book sale in Bugis Kinokuniya. Too bad that branch was a tad bit small so there actually wasnt anything much to buy there. I was planning to buy two ouran comics and a Robot book which was the artwork of Kim Hyung Tae in it, bleh i just wanted to see the price of that book. Having being bought two artbooks by my sister in Takashimaya. There were excellent so i kinda thought the Robot book was a splurge. There I was at the counter, one more customer before my turn. I had a sudden reaction to look at Nadz and Shujuan. I had that regrettful decision to aslk Nadz take the book for me. Gah my hands were sweating like waterfalls. I even had the thought of my wet POSB card being slashed by the cashier past the machine which causes the machine to shortcircuit. LOL. Then afterward the whole store lights would be out. All because of my sweaty hands. Hooray.
After that both Nadz and Shujuan wanted to go to Millenia walk to buy something from Candy Empire and eat. Cool there was that 1minute of fame semi finals held there. I totally loved the animals or rather the children in animal suits which practically did nothing but wriggle some movements. I totally digged the skunk suit which had super ultra tight tights. Next we went to Candy Empire and bought some stuff, I of course bought the nerds rope cos its like totally cool.
We went to suntec afterwards. I wanted to go to the figurine shop on the top floor but they wanted to go inside Toys R Us. you know those kind of toys where you have to guide a prong along a path and when you touch the path the buzzer would sound? yeah i thought the prong was supposed to go in the path, but some kid HAD to show me how to play it correctly. It was like so embarrassing la. I think some part of my well-built recognition was destroyed in that process, if I had any in the first place.
At the end of Toys R Us we are at the cashier and I saw this really embarrassingly funky Pretty Cure cardboard cut-outs where you put your face in and take photos. It was beside my all time favorite thing to do at Toys R Us: The tongtong. I figured that it would be fun just to take a picture of me in that ridiculous Pretty Cure cardboard. As Nadz prepared to take a photo, I so wanted to back out and I turned away from the cardboard. This is what happened.
I hit the side of eye so bad I thought my glasses woudl break. The tears just fell...it was SOSOSO embarrassing. Dear god another part of my self assumed recognition just dissipated yet again. It was as if someone punched me. It still hurts now. =(
I did managed to buy some figurines...all were based on impulse so i shall go beat myself with a cold tuna while I bask in regret. After buying, those two women wanted to go back to bugis again. Like wtf. Ok no stress so we went back. They had this notion that they MUST get what they want that day no matter how hard it was to find it. Apparently it wasnt in Bugis but Bugis street. The only shop i remembered there was the sex shop which was now on the first floor. Like woot. Well they bought the hairbands they wanted and my legs were dead. Mission Accomplished.
We were all so tired and apparently took the wrong exit out of Bugis street. So we casually sat in the walkway for awhile. After that we walked towards Bugis again...I felt the impulse to nudge Nadz like I always. BAD IDEA. She nudged back and I fell into an ixora bush. So damn fricking embarrassing. It was a fun day actually...sans the embarrassing situations that I had.
