So the StreetFest was here. It was time for all the demons in everyone of us to emerge. Otakus can be seen littering the streets and wannabe-goths overshadow the true goths. I last-minute charge my camera, stupid me. Or else i would've taken some pretty exciting photos. But here's what i got.
So I met my CCA friend at Cine. He was eating with his friends, most probably from the cosplay forums. They asked whether i cosplayed before. I said no of course. Then i saw one FFXII special edition thingy, I didnt CARE I WANT IT TOO. ok fanboy mode switched off.
This was one of his friends. Nice GL[Gothic Lolita] Costume, but honey, converse shoes and Gothic Lolita dont mix.
Here i took an opportunity to take some cosplayers' pictures. These two were particularly ok. Now turn your attention to a familiar redhead in the background. GASP! IS THAT RENO? WHEN DID HE GET SO BIG??!! Opps as it turns out, "she" was my friend's friend. Idiot, Reno is supposed to be every girl's fantasy of a badboy. Another random rare indian cosplayer behind.
They sold some stuff but at that time i only had $4. Pathetic me. So shoot me there were only girl's GL stuff there. Boo~
Here's another well done GL. With scary dool included. Her face is a little too chubby for me to take her seriously, IM SORRY IM SO MEAN OK?
WAIT A MINUTE. GASP! DID YOU SEE THAT GL BEHIND?! THE ONE WITH THE HAT?! OMG. apparently she forgot to wipe her mouth after drinking milo this morning. opps, its supposed to be lipstick.
Here we have another familiar face. Sol Badguy from GuiltyGear. Nice headgear and nice hair too, i saw the weapon. VERY NICE. But...
OH DEAR MOTHER OF GOD. SWEET HOLY BEJEZZUS. if i hadnt known, i thought your ass was cosplaying a bun or something. P.S. this pic was secretly taken WITHOUT FLASH, mufufufu...
Other than the cosplayers around, there were definitely some goths in the crowd. The band was playing and the lead singer was like, "Uhh...this hor is my band. My name is [insert fake jap name] and this is my band horz." That's ok, really. Then came the singing. Did i mention singing? Here's what i caught them singing in the midst of the heavy guitars and drums.
"I WANT TO DIE!!!!!!!!!!!! RAWR!!!!!!!!!! I WANT TO DIE!!!!!!!!!!!!! PIUPIUPIU!!!!!!!!!!!"
Ok, you dont have to tell the world. And what's with the piupiupiu? Did i mentioned they were singing? Sounds more like a mating call to me.
I found this GL pretty. I have a fetish for GLs, so sue me. I dont like the brown boots.
So here ends our short trip into Streetfest. I will try to go one more time if possible. Hope you had fun.
