Hello Minna-San! Im feeling very japanese today coz guess where i went. No, not japan you idiots. I went to the exhibition at Plaza Singapura. Its called Yokoso Japan! and there were quite a lot of nice stuff there. I took a lot of pictures too.
First thing in the morning i checked to see whether my torrent finished anot. Well it finished so i login to MSN 9am in the morning. Yeah most of you thinking "WTF?" coz we have a group meeting for UED, 9am in the morning. Im not complaining, it was the ideal time coz i had to go for the Yokoso Japan! afterwards in the afternoon.
So it was 2.10pm and im late! ARGH...i wish i hadn't dilly dally. I made a new friend [SHOUT OUT TO JUNMAO] who is practically a japanese enthusiast. His aunt lives in japan so he gets to go there often [jealous!] Anyways we met in the Japanese Tsubasa Club. Yes believe it or not, i have officially joined the japanese tsubasa club. Like hooray, mistake me not, there were hordes of otakus there and i peed a little in my pants. The freakin president's name is called "Asuka". Like WTF...HAIL THE OTAKU QUEEN, i ROFLed with Junmao when she announced her name. If i was her, i would've dug a hole and hid my ass where the sun dont shine. *cringe* Nevertheless, it was fun. There were those ice-breaker games...*yawn*...and some yaoi action...*WOOT~!*
Ok anyways to the picture presentation. First up is the blue kodomos! They wore like blue bathrobe thingys that had a merlion behind it. I found it quite amusing but think of it. If i was performing in japan i would've worn my yukata, and they would've found it funny.
They were dancing this traditional dance thingy. Its cool how they added a rock remix into it. IT TOTALLY REMINDED ME OF THE SONG SHUJUAN SENT TO ME. Next up is the kawaii kodomos!
Yet again another splendid performance. I love Japanese Traditional Music. Very spirited and vibrant. [Am not trying to be poetic] Afterthat, me and JunMao went inside PS to check out the manga. Weizhen! I bought Ouran Book 2 liaoz. Can lend from me. Ok so afterthat we went outside for the drum performance. I was expecting some buff guys to play, but they were working mothers and even a granny. Kakoi ne Oba-chan! Sugoi! Sugoi! You go girl!
There were quite a number of drum performances and JunMao had to go for Jap class. So we head on to 7-11 and he bought a slurpee. While he was finishing it, i saw this cute little game the kiddies were playing.
Apparently you must use a paper net to scoop up the balls as prizes. The boy cheated but oh well. Looks cool but i bet those idiot travel agency freaks would make me pay like $5 for it. Boo. So there ends my wonderful session with Yokoso Japan! There were cosplayers, but they look too scary so i forgot to take a picture. anyways here is a little parting gift for you all. [silently ROFL]
*ATTENTION* This is most probably not cosplaying, as contrary to what the person wearing it thinks. Is she supposed to be a jester or sumthg? Jya Ne~
